Step out of the lecture and into the real thing.
Immediately following the Exxxotica seminar, we’ll leave the convention center and walk to an adjacent hotel for a hands-on boudoir workshop inside a private hotel suite—designed to help you build a portfolio you can start using right away.
You’ll photograph real-life models of different sizes, shapes, and looks, staged in multiple areas of the suite (bedroom, window light, hallway corners, bathroom vibes, and more) so you can practice creating variety in tight spaces, mixed lighting, and real-world scenarios—the exact environments boudoir photographers work in all the time.

Michelle McCrady is the photographer behind BACINI Photography & Boudoir, a six-figure studio based in the DC Metro Area.
She’s been photographing boudoir for well over a decade, after getting her start in Italy, and now shoots worldwide while teaching photographers how to build strong portfolios and create luxury client experiences.
Michelle’s approach is equal parts craft and confidence—posing, lighting, direction, and a consent-first foundation that keeps clients feeling safe, supported, and empowered in front of the camera.
Michelle has been a part of the Exxxotica family for years and is excited to meet you for the first time (or welcome you back)!

How much will the workshop cost?
The cost of the Workshop is $495. Due to the nature of the workshop, all sales are final so be sure you will be able to join us!
If I can't make it, are there refunds?
Due to the limited nature of the workshop, all sales are final. However we don't leave you hanging. If you cannot make it in person, you have two options: You may sell your seat to someone on the waitlist, or, you can convert your seat into a remote 1:1 mentoring plan. If you are unable to secure a buyer on the waitlist, your spot will automatically convert to a remote 1:1 mentoring plan.
How long will the workshop take?
The workshop is 3 hours total, and it’s designed to be hands-on from start to finish. You’ll get guided shooting time, live posing and lighting demonstrations, and dedicated Q&A throughout—so you can troubleshoot in real time and leave with portfolio-worthy images you can actually use.
How many people will be at the workshop?
To keep this workshop truly hands-on, attendance is capped at 10 participants. This ensures everyone gets meaningful shooting time with each model, space to move and create in the suite, and plenty of real-time guidance during demonstrations and open shooting.
What will I learn?
You’ll learn how to photograph a full boudoir session from start to finish—not just a few “lucky” shots. We’ll cover finding and shaping light, posing and micro-adjustments that flatter real bodies, and how to adapt when working with different sizes, abilities, flexibility levels, and comfort zones. You’ll also learn how to create storytelling images that feel intentional, build pose flows that keep the session moving smoothly, capture detail shots that elevate your galleries, and structure a shoot so you leave with a complete, cohesive set of images your clients (and your portfolio) will love.
Do you offer additional mentoring after the workshop is over?
Included in your workshop, you will have (1) one-on-one follow up Zoom meeting to see where you are at and answer any follow-up questions. This will be scheduled after the workshop is completed. There are additional opportunities to work with us for more 1:1 mentoring and workshops.

The Workshop is a BACINI Boudoir event, independently hosted and operated outside of Exxxotica. Exxxotica does not sponsor, manage, or assume responsibility for the Workshop.
